Project 1 Life: In Color focuses on the disproportionate devastation of the opioid and fentanyl crises in marginalized communities. The BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities face social inequities at higher rates, often resulting in unequal access to adequate living conditions, health care, education, and economic opportunities. Enduring increased these stressors can put these groups at increased rich of alcohol and substance abuse (NC State University).
